The New Venture Management concentration is for students who want to explore their potential and create original business opportunities, as well as for those who want to develop hands-on skills that will be valuable to employers. The learning focuses on effectively starting and managing new business ventures, including e-commerce and social entrepreneurship. Students will learn how to identify opportunities that create economic value within the ever-evolving realities of the 21st century business context, and to do so while operating in a socially and environmentally responsible manner. Typical starting salaries for a Management Trainee, Assistant Manager or Management Analyst range from $30,000 to $55,000. Middle level management salaries with 5 years of experience in a metropolitan area average from $56,400 and $149,010.
