M.B.A. Program Quick Facts
• Students can complete the program in one year if they have their undergraduate degree in Business.

Requirements

• Minimum GPA (Grade Point Average) of 2.75 on a 4.0 scale
• English Proficiency
• Completion of a BA or BS degree
• Completion of pre-requisites
• GRE (Graduate Record Examination) score of 300 on verbal & quantitative OR GMAT (Graduate Management Admissions Test) with a score of 500

The CEEGE will work with the Business Department to process your application and will notify you with updates.

If admissible, we will issue you an Admission Letter and I-20 with scanned copies of transcripts and proof of English Proficiency, but we must receive the originals via mail before you begin attendance.

• Submit the Certification of Finances - MBA
• Submit GMAT or GRE results

Admissions Deadlines

The MBA program is a 1-year program and begins in August of each year.  The program runs August through July.  The application deadline is February 1st.

Prerequisite Information

To be eligible for the MBA program, you must have completed courses in:

1)  Statistics
Elementary Statistics: Probability, relative frequency; measure of central tendency, variation, correlation; binomial and normal distributions; testing of hypotheses and estimation; linear regression.

2) Accounting
Financial Accounting: First course in accounting. Measurement and reporting principles used in US to prepare financial reports for investors/creditors. Computer applications demonstrate design of accounting information systems. This needs to be financial accounting, not managerial accounting.

3) Economics
Economics: Learn economic fundamentals. Microeconomic behavior of consumers and firms. Different market structures and government policies. Macroeconomic concepts including business cycles, unemployment, inflation, and growth. Effects of fiscal and monetary policy. This can be a combined Macroeconomics and a Microeconomics course. If you have only taken a class in Micro-economics, this will suffice.

4) Finance
Finance: Basic skills for analyzing financial data. Time value of money; techniques and ratios commonly used in financial analysis. Any general overview of finance topics will suffice. *Principles of finance is also commonly known as Business Finance.

• Yes.

Do I have to take certain courses before starting the MBA?
• Yes. You must take a foundation course/college course in: 
o financial accounting
o economics (macro and micro)
o finance
o statistics

What if I have not taken these courses?
• You can take them at your home university.

When will I find out if I’ve been admitted?
• In most cases, we can conditionally admit you as early as January if you have completed your application. You must still complete all remaining requirements (degree, tests & courses, if any) by August, before you can start the program.
