On March 1, 2018, the Business Department at Cal Poly Humboldt hosted the 2nd Marketing and Management Career Night. A number of businesses from the local community were invited to this event. Mr. Michael Kraft was the guest speaker at this event. He has worked in economic development and related areas in Humboldt County for 11 years. Since 2013, Mr. Kraft has been with Sequoia Personnel Services. As part of his speech, Mr. Kraft talked about a recent data that the Sequoia Personnel Services collected about the Humboldt County’s needs of personnel which led to a very productive Q&A session. Students then had the opportunity to move around the room and seat at different tables to meet with various local businesses. One of our students won a fun raffle prize. This was a great networking opportunity.
